On April 1, 2026, a delegation from Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, and Wuhan University of Technology visited KH Marine Electric Co., Ltd. They held in-depth exchanges focusing on the R&D of intelligent ship supporting facilities, the tackling of marine electrical technology, the upgrading of intelligent shipping industry, and the industry-university-research collaborative development in the Yangtze River Delta.

This docking integrated the core advantages of all parties: Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center have the ability of regional innovation resource integration and achievement transformation; Wuhan University of Technology has profound scientific research accumulation in the fields of marine electrical engineering, maritime materials and intelligent control; KH Marine Electric has rich experience in the application of marine intelligent power distribution, customized marine electrical solutions and new energy marine supporting equipment.

This exchange focused on three key directions: the R&D of core electrical components for intelligent ships, the joint construction of industry standards for intelligent shipping electrical systems, and the oriented transformation of industry-university-research achievements. The three parties exchanged ideas on key areas such as the optimization of shipborne intelligent electronic control and the energy supporting of green ships, initially determined the entry points for pilot cooperation, and planned to jointly tackle the problems of localization of intelligent ship electrical technology to empower the high-quality development of the intelligent shipping industry chain in the Yangtze River Delta.
